In our Pink Hard Hat Chats series, we sit down and talk with women in the architecture, design, and build industries to learn their perspectives and insight on industry topics. Previously, we talked with Susan Jones, Founder and Principal Architect of atelierjones. For this chat, we're featuring SZ's Lara Tedrow!
Lara first started working with Suzanne as an intern, and over the past several years, her position has grown with the firm's growth, too. I had the chance to sit down and chat with her about her role at SZ, her path to become Job Captain and a Designer, and what she's currently up to. Check out our video here to learn more about our very own Lara!
If you're interested in joining our team, visit our Job Openings page to learn more about the following open positions: Summer Intern, Architectural Project Manager, and Construction Planner.
Reflecting on Two Years of SZ
This April, Suzanne Zahr Art & Architecture celebrates two years of working, creating, and building together with our clients. As a team, we're really coming into our own; our first-year anniversary celebrated the launch, the systems, processes, and branding that we put into place. Read MoreIntroducing the Brand Identity of Rêve Development
Rêve is the French word for “dream,” and our aim is to attract investors who dream of exciting opportunities in property development. With our combined background in real estate law, design, construction and property development, Rêve’s team handles complexities with ease to ensure that these dreams can become a reality.
Exciting news! Suzanne has joined forces with real estate attorneys, Michael D. Ross & Rob B. Spitzer, to form the Seattle-based group, Rêve Development, LLC. As they initially explored branding ideas for their new venture, they began to hone in on shared values and ambitions. The concept of building a portfolio of meaningful developments that make a difference, socially, economically, and environmentally, began to rise to the top of their priorities. Rêve's name stems from their courage to think differently, their drive to persevere through challenges, and the desire to make a positive impact within the communities they so gratefully serve.
The website design is visually organized to allow each unique development to speak for itself. With the potential of teaming with foreign investors, the website's layout is clean and simple, easy to navigate in any language.
